What comes with every LIISEE light box order
A complete light box range, organised into six families
A light box is not one product. Every unit is the result of four decisions: how the face is lit, how it is mounted, what environment it has to survive, and how often the graphic needs to change. We have organised the whole range along those four lines into six families, so you can locate your requirement first and specify the details second.
Each family is a manufacturing capability rather than a stock item — outline, depth, colour temperature, control method and mounting hardware are confirmed against your drawing. If your requirement sits between two families, send it anyway; most of what leaves our factory is a hybrid.
01
Backlit & Edge-Lit Light Boxes
Includes backlit LED matrix, edge-lit light-guide plate, frameless, ultra-thin, crystal and vacuum-formed constructions, with acrylic, magnetic or slide-in face retention.
Graphic change front-opening, magnetic lift-off or side slide-out, selected together with the profile.
Typical use shopfront signs, reception and lobby backdrops, brand image walls, window displays.
02
Fabric, SEG & Tension-Fabric Systems
Includes silicone-edge (SEG) fabric, tension-fabric frames, column and pillar wraps, hanging fabric banners, double-sided fabric, outdoor fabric and snap-frame fabric systems.
Graphic change tool-free — the textile pulls out of the frame channel and a new one pushes in; washable and reusable.
Typical use exhibition booths and backdrops, retail feature walls, museum and showroom graphics, seasonal campaigns.
03
Wall-Mounted, Poster & Menu Light Boxes
Includes wall-mounted, poster, snap-frame, slide-in, menu and retail units, with lockable fronts where the sign sits within public reach.
Graphic change the fastest in the range — clip the frame open from the front, no tools, no removal from the wall.
Typical use quick-service and café menu boards, retail poster positions, cinema and foyer corridors, chain-store wall signage.
04
Hanging, Ceiling & Projecting Light Boxes
Includes suspended and ceiling-mounted units, projecting and blade signs, pole-mounted, under-awning and totem constructions, single or double sided.
Graphic change both faces open independently on double-sided builds; the suspension points stay in place.
Typical use mall corridors, supermarket aisles, restaurant partitions, projecting shopfront signs, wayfinding above traffic routes.
05
Outdoor & Weather-Sealed Light Boxes
Includes outdoor, waterproof and weatherproof housings, solar-powered units, pavement A-frame and sidewalk signs, storefront and pylon signage.
Graphic change front access with the gasket re-seated on closing; agree the service interval at the design stage.
Typical use building facades, forecourts and fuel stations, roadside advertising, public-service and directional signage.
06
Freestanding, Countertop & Specialty Displays
Includes freestanding and A-frame units, desktop and cube light boxes, rotating and scrolling displays, infinity-mirror signs, RGB and colour-changing units, illuminated display cases, bar shelves and counters.
Graphic change front or top access depending on the unit; rotating and scrolling builds carry their own service panel.
Typical use exhibitions and pop-up shops, bar and bottle displays, counter-top promotions, dynamic and motion-based brand features.
Product categories — one factory for the whole illuminated scheme
Below are the light box models most often specified by our customers. Every one is a starting point rather than a fixed SKU — outline, size, illumination, control and mounting are confirmed against your drawing before we quote.

Tension Fabric Light Box
Stretch fabric held under tension in an almost invisible aluminium frame, lit from behind by LED strips for high, even brightness. The near-frameless face gives you a full-bleed graphic, and the textile pulls out when the campaign changes.

4 Layers Standing Rotating Light Box
Four stacked cubes that rotate automatically, giving you up to sixteen poster faces in one floor-standing footprint. Built for menu-rich restaurants and retail floors where the display cannot rely on a wall.

Wall Mounted Acrylic Lightbox Tube
One or two round acrylic tubes mounted on the wall and illuminated through 360°, so your logo reads from every approach angle. Waterproof builds are available for outdoor facades.

Acrylic Lightbox Billboard
A projecting board in semi-transparent acrylic with LED tube lights inside, mounted off the shop wall. The 360° tube illumination and weather-sealed housing make it an outdoor shopfront sign first and a light box second.

Rotating Lightbox Wall Sign
A round double-sided sign that turns through 360° on a wall bracket, commonly built in the 30–80 cm diameter range. Motion is the point — it catches the eye faster than a static face, and it is available waterproof for outdoor use.

Round Column Fabric Light Box
A backlit soft-film graphic wrapped around a circular pillar, displaying through 360° with no blind spots. Typically installed in malls, metro stations and airports, where people approach from every direction.

Cube Acrylic Light Box
A cube that lights edge to edge rather than face only, with your logo printed on one to five sides. Waterproof builds are available; the whole body glows, which reads as quality at close range.

Infinity Mirror Neon Sign
A 3D infinity mirror combined with neon, producing a tunnel of reflected light behind the graphic. It reads as a plain mirror when switched off and as a neon light box when switched on.

Ceiling Hanging Fabric Lightbox Banner
A backlit fabric banner suspended from the ceiling in four- or eight-sided formats, visible from all directions across a hall. Built for exhibitions, trade shows and seasonal promotions.
Which light box construction fits your application?
The right answer depends on three things: how much depth you have behind the face, how large the illuminated area is, and how often the graphic needs to change. Use the table below as a first filter, then send us the site photos — we will confirm the construction against your wall build-up and viewing distance.
| Construction | How it lights the face | Graphic change | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Edge-lit (light-guide plate) | LED modules sit in the frame edge and inject light into an acrylic light-guide plate, which spreads it evenly across the face. | Front or side loading, depending on profile | Slim indoor signs, menu boards, wayfinding, office branding where depth is limited |
| Backlit (LED matrix) | LED modules are laid out across the back plate behind an opal diffuser, giving high and even face luminance. | Front or rear access panel | Large shopfront signs, window displays, transport hubs, any format that must stay bright and uniform |
| Tension fabric (SEG) | Backlit LED matrix behind a dye-sublimated textile held taut by a silicone edge pushed into the frame channel. | Tool-free — the fabric pulls out and a new one pushes in | Exhibition backdrops, retail feature walls, museum graphics, campaigns that change seasonally |
| Snap frame / poster | Edge-lit or backlit LED behind a translucent poster, held by spring-loaded aluminium profiles. | Fastest — clip the frame open from the front | Menus, promotions, cinema and foyer displays with frequent artwork changes |
| Weather-sealed outdoor | Backlit matrix inside a gasketed housing with drainage and a UV-stable face. | Front access with gasket re-seal | Storefront fascia signs, projecting signs, forecourt and external wayfinding |
| Double-sided & projecting | Two illuminated faces in one housing, mounted on a wall bracket or ceiling suspension. | Both faces independently | Retail aisles, mall corridors and hanging wayfinding where traffic approaches from both directions |
Every parameter is specified by you
A light box is a fabricated assembly, not an off-the-shelf SKU. Below is the full list of choices we ask you to confirm before we quote — tick off what you know, leave the rest to our engineers.
| Parameter | What you can specify |
|---|---|
| Size & outline | Width × height to your drawing; rectangular, square, circular, radius-cornered or a free-form outline cut to your vector file |
| Profile depth | Slim edge-lit build or standard backlit build, selected against the recess or stand-off available on your wall |
| Housing | Aluminium profile (anodised or powder-coated to a RAL colour), stainless steel, or acrylic body for indoor duty |
| Face / diffuser | Light-guide acrylic, opal PMMA or PS diffuser, or tempered glass where impact or weather resistance is required |
| Graphic | UV-printed backlit film, dye-sublimation SEG fabric, or a replaceable poster — single or double sided |
| Light source | SMD LED modules built around LED packages from established brands |
| Colour temperature | 2700 K – 6500 K; fixed CCT, tunable white, RGB or RGBW where the design calls for it |
| Colour rendering | Ra 80 as standard; Ra 90 with elevated R9 where brand colours or food displays must read accurately |
| Driver | External constant-voltage driver, pre-wired with UL/VDE certified cable; driver location set by your service access |
| Control | On/off, 0–10 V, PWM, DALI, DMX or wireless; sensor and emergency versions on request |
| Mounting | Wall-mounted, ceiling-hung, projecting, floor-standing, recessed or window-suspended |
| Electrical | 100–240 V 50/60 Hz; plug type, cord length and switch position matched to the destination market |
| Compliance | Products engineered to meet CE, RoHS, UL and DLC requirements |
| Documentation | Spec sheet, IES / LDT photometric files, wiring diagram, test report and export packing list |
Why LIISEE as your light box manufacturer
One-stop light box solutions
Because the housing, the optics, the electronics and the graphic are all produced in the same facility, every part of your light box is made to the same order: raw material, frame profile, corner joints, face panel, back plate, brackets, graphic printing, LED layout, colour temperature, mounting hardware, plug type and wiring.

Factory-direct versus a local fabricator
Local workshops are fast and convenient for one-off repairs. The picture changes when you need repeatable branded units across several sites. Here is the comparison we are asked for most often.
| Decision factor | Typical local fabricator | LIISEE factory-direct |
|---|---|---|
| Unit economics | Retail component prices plus local workshop labour overhead | Factory-direct pricing, quoted against your drawing and quantity |
| Customisation scope | Limited to stock profiles, stock finishes and stock sizes | Full OEM / ODM — outline, depth, optics, CCT, control, branding and packaging |
| Lead time | Depends on the workshop’s current queue | Published schedule: samples 3–7 working days, standard bulk 15–20 working days |
| Engineering & photometry | Usually outsourced to a separate design house | In-house R&D with an integrating sphere and IES test equipment |
| Quality gate | Visual check before handover | 100% aging test and full inspection before packing, with batch traceability |
| Repeatability across sites | Rebuild from scratch each time; colour and finish drift | One colour bin and one finish standard held across repeat orders |
| Export & logistics | Domestic delivery only | Export packing, documentation and door-to-door delivery to 60+ markets |
